Hi

I have a Dell laptop with USB-C connector. Connected to that I have a
USB-C to DP cable, plugged in to my 4K monitor. It works just fine. I
run i3 so for switching when hot-plugging I have a custom shell script
with xrandr commands that I run with win+F8 key. Haven't tried any
automatic detection in other VMs but manually running xrandr surely
works. Have you tried with just a cable? Could it be dock-related issue?
