Your question indicates that I've phrased my proposal in such a way as to suggest that this is for formats of Microsoft games. That's not what I meant. I meant games used on the Microsoft platforms. However, it occurs to me that this is stupid, since the same game may be available on multiple PC platforms, all using the same file format. So... how about pcgames as the name of the file?
