It looks like your 5.0 system is corrupted - perhaps your upgrade was only partial or otherwise incomplete. Did you upgrade from source? If so, make sure you are cvsupping the whole tree (src-all), cvsup again and then precisely follow the upgrade directions in /usr/src/UPDATING and the FreeBSD handbook.
