Recently, (I haven't installed anything new), my machine has become unable to telnet to itself. telnet localhost and telnet harlie.bfd.com both fail miserably. I do notice this in the logs when it fails. Feb 19 14:51:55 harlie /kernel: arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo Feb 19 14:52:25 harlie last message repeated 2 times Feb 19 15:21:23 harlie /kernel: arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo Any clue what I did? I was doing some sockets programming when it stopped working, so at first I thought I had choked something, so I rebooted. However, the problem remains.
