Panic'ed like before (trace): _scsi_attachdevs + x20 _ncr_attach + x199 Okay, so this is either a bug in the compiler (most likely) or in the kernel. Especially in the latter case it would be nice to identify it. If you are willing to isolate the problem, I'd suggest starting with a bisection on the kernel files dragged in by the ncr scsi device. Compile half of them with 2.6.3, boot, etc.
