I'm having trouble with the version in the ports tree. A make install give me: install -c -m 444 -o root -g wheel Ssh.bin /usr/local/libdata/ssh ===> Generating temporary packing list >> Generating an RSA1 secret host key. /usr/local/bin/ssh-keygen -N "" -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key You must specify a key type (-t). Usage: ssh-keygen [options] Options: -b bits Number of bits in the key to create. -c Change comment in private and public key files. -e Convert OpenSSH to IETF SECSH key file. -f filename Filename of the key file. -i Convert IETF SECSH to OpenSSH key file. -l Show fingerprint of key file. -p Change passphrase of private key file. -q Quiet. -y Read private key file and print public key. -t type Specify type of key to create. -B Show bubblebabble digest of key file. -C comment Provide new comment. -N phrase Provide new passphrase. -P phrase Provide old passphrase. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/security/openssh. Also, the original ssh stuff is installed in /usr/(s)bin, instead of /usr/local/(s)bin. And a pkg_info -a doesn't show the original ssh version, so I can't remove it with pkg_delete. The man page for ssh-keygen also does not list the values for the -t flag, so I don't what to put in the Makefile for the openssh port to make it work. I'm using Freebsd 4.4.
