I think most of these types of MFCs are blind as most of the folks testing it 
in HEAD are running HEAD.

Eh, you can always use a VM to test the 10 build if you wish, but since you 
committed this head, you should just MFC it to 10.  You've already gotten one 
confirmation by a user reporting that it works fine when merged, so I think 
that is ample.
