A GENERIC kernel should allow you to run an older userland without issues. That said, you're right to keep a backup of your stable kernel. I believe that the feature required to have multiple X sessions open simultaneously is available in this DRM 3.8 branch. So far, only one person tested and reported that he could run two X servers. Of course, I'm not asking you to run -CURRENT permanently, but if you test this branch, please report how it goes for you :) --=20 Jean-S=C3=A9bastien P=C3=A9dron --tKJRGPg6jng4VkQtN9sNS0RNQglX8L5tE Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJUCBmLXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQ2NzA4N0ZEMUFFQUUwRTEyREJDNkE2RjAz OUU5OTc2MUE1RkQ5NENDAAoJEDnpl2Gl/ZTMhmEQALis/VvARSEp85LSXgbtlyqh LeqdMdi/Tmka760iirBxU61fpk2D0Xk3H7Q8y94psTOaHgWWoD6Gu8xYv6V+UYLJ nmvlsJczMiKYi4wySvbyMvJBORUvR0UVAZ48TFaoWXSa06fW+kRL9YEse+Wyf0nL KC5z3140M+CrGYraodZjUcM5MWUz3lmsZMF+N7xvjmSUyz5POdYnJcBQWUN3IX0L Kmcaw3fLKbS/ulRPrkZsgHhM77sUmWBNqFw7UiL1L35jOR736OX7rFwymUPaDVmc Ww8JEuuPCqKYRjF5OJHoxBSsWZg4whsi8jTDreaY/frL45N/3A5GqI7Q7vLunZsy L0QaDq+4LBgNyOtlfPWmcvVaEakaW0ZXr51pYAOqLRXXkJzsfhwvZ4yUPfVefpb2 EDIGzAPFR/N1RBrqa/uZK0Q2JKpAMFPNQkgwpxcbfNnQAvGoU3OL1XzR3ekzTfjT p/Pjisi5rrHi5tfOmXnnSM/0a8yYEbEOTeT4rhkSXe5KyBU0EVWOjRRK0pCWhxtb c1+bYixjQPYk6DQldnANRgmkpYwRxOwYTy3IF0HfjFIsTj4Uzd6E3OdcSpNc8Mda S4kivjvGp9B1WRL8FdCqoFlgPDzTeFXxMlp4l2mHEIs5QuKr+jia4y7DE+lslMS0 1s6dK4LC72asT0BGnu2e =se67 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --tKJRGPg6jng4VkQtN9sNS0RNQglX8L5tE--
