I've been running a PostgreSQL/mod_perl system for a long time, recently
running on a dual PIII-733 under 4.6-STABLE. Some things to check:

- - does this app do a lot of update/deletes ?
- - how big does the data directory get?

Your database may need vacuuming. Seems more like a Postgres problem.
