cd /usr/ports/textproc/expat2
make deinstall
make reinstall clean
cd /usr/ports/devel/gettext
make deinstall
make --with-expat reinstall clean
cd /usr/ports/mail/evolution
make install clean

this worked for me..... I take no responsibilty for any other undesirable=
=20
consequences!
