No problems since. My problems were not shown up by fsck, but by bizarre and differing ideas 4.7 and Linux had about the hard disk partitioning. Mmm..this was tied in with several other odd problems, some of the pilot error, and some due to an apparent inability of a FreeBSD slice to live physically next to a DOS extended partition. I have repeatedly asked about this .. but I have never received an answer from anyone.
