If you intend to develop an open-source application, there are several sites that offer free hosting of open-source CVS repositories and the resulting distfiles; SourceForge - http://www.sourceforge.net/ - comes to mind immediately. It is also possible that after you develop the application and put it up somewhere temporarily for people to see it, somebody else will like it and offer to host the distfiles for you. However, this will depend heavily on what exactly kind of application you have in mind :) G'luck, Peter --=20 Peter Pentchev roam@ringlet.net roam@FreeBSD.org PGP key: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/roam.key.asc Key fingerprint FDBA FD79 C26F 3C51 C95E DF9E ED18 B68D 1619 4553 I am jealous of the first word in this sentence. --KsGdsel6WgEHnImy Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE9/hmJ7Ri2jRYZRVMRAuryAJwKgZFgHOaJAdCXgGPxgP91Jnbz5QCgkLxO OY/1qFb9c1dpTiSjzVWlKEY= =6N8H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --KsGdsel6WgEHnImy-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
