My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who heard Andrew Forgue say... I use the release, 3.2, that was one release before the dc driver release.(this is what I gather from reading countless mailing list comments on geocrawler) I saw reference to the fact that the actual silicon on the wafer is very important in determining what driver to use. I got a linux driver disk with this card. I'm going to see what info it has on it. I'll also check the number on the chip and post back if I get it to work. I'm trying to avoid doing a cvsup until after I have the NIC working because upgrading over a dial up is no fun. Ian > Wait.
