/stand/sysinstall (as root) has facilities for this. Just make sure you
don't write a disklabel to your existing disk ;-)

Well, seeing as you've not said if the drive is an IDE drive, nor said
whether or not you're running a customized kernel, it's a little hard to
say.

Assuming you're using an IDE drive, it should be supported out of the
box.
