You're welcome to try out my replacement for it at: http://www.freebsd.org/~sheldonh/p5-Apache.tar.gz The tarball contains a replacement for the ports/www/p5-APache directory, so be sure to rm the existing port directory first. This port differs from the one it replaces in that it uses Apache's APXS technology to build mod_perl as a DSO, instead of linking it into the httpd binary. Ciao, Sheldon. PS: You may have stuffed up your httpd.conf while trying to make it work for mod_perl -- try to blow away any traces of mod_perl in it before making my port.
