	then we need to get the man page fixed, i guess.

SETTING IDLE TIMER
     To check/set idletimer, use the ``show timeout'' and ``set timeout'' com-
     mands.

      Ex:
           ppp ON tama> set timeout 600

     The timeout period is measured in seconds, the  default value for which
     is 180 or 3 min.  To disable the idle timer function,  use the command
     ``set timeout 0''.

     In -auto mode, an idle timeout causes the PPP session to be closed,
     though the ppp program itself remains running.  Another trigger packet
     will cause it to attempt to reestablish the link.
