No, the mmap() issue hasn't been dealt with simply because Xaccel 
depends on the breakage in order to function.

This is consistent with an X server hang.  Does the machine respond to 
being pinged?  It's difficult to tell the difference between the X 
server dying and the rest of the machine going over.
