CVSupp'ing to the latest as of 17/04/98 @ 13.50 & recompiling Samba did it... It also scared the living daylights out of me (watching it grab all the new code since the snapshot I installed), then having to make the world, then the kernel - and finally the device nodes & rebooting... As I said - all very scary, but a real credit to the people who design and code this stuff - it all went very smoothly!
