Dear Doug, > Change the device line to read > > device lnc0 ISA detection is skipped now. The card is detected as lnc1. Output from Kernel: Jun 4 10:21:59 asig /kernel: lnc1 <PCNet/PCI Ethernet adapter> rev 22 int a irq 11 on pci0:11 Jun 4 10:21:59 asig /kernel: lnc1: NE2100 (C-LANCE) address 00:80:5f:8a:28:ba But again the failure "Initialisation failed" comes to my console (again when trying to ifconfig the card). I'll paste my rc.conf: network_interfaces="lnc1 lo0" ifconfig_lnc1="inet 172.24.5.36 netmask 255.255.255.0" ifconfig_lo0="inet 127.0.0.1" The network is unreachable (but I can ping the host itself by using ping on 172.24.5.36) You know the solution?
