Please don't let my verbose postings against LD_LIBRARY_PATH be intrepreted as a call for it's removal. LD_LIBRARY_PATH is an adaquet tool for a limited case of problems. I am trying to point out that the use of LD_LIBRARY_PATH does not belong in the system as provided by the FreeBSD Project (base, X11, ports etc). -- | Matthew N.
