Conceptually, it's very clean, but the implementation > on the CLI has some potholes. [.....] I would have said it's fully documented.... it doesn't attempt to teach the reader what MP is (ie, the docs are quite terse), but that probably belongs in the handbook. If I wait long enough, maybe Greg will document it :-) Commands only need to be qualified *after* you've cloned more than one link. The best way to set up a config file is to do all of the configuration that applies to all links *before* doing the ``clone'' and then qualifying the remaining commands. Note, you can also qualify the ``load'' command - giving something like: MP: set device /dev/cuaa0 /dev/cuaa1 /dev/cuaa2 set sp 115200 set authname whoever set authkey whatever set dial "ATDT and all that" set login "login passwd etc" set phone "1234|2345|3456" clone 1,2,3,4,5,6 link deflink rm link 1 load special special: # Everything in here has ``link 1'' in front of it I suspect very little of the config file really needs to be ``qualified''. > Doug White > Internet: dwhite@resnet.uoregon.edu | FreeBSD: The Power to Serve > http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~dwhite | www.freebsd.org -- Brian <brian@Awfulhak.org>, <brian@FreeBSD.org>, <brian@OpenBSD.org> <http://www.Awfulhak.org> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
