These > do need to match otherwise the BIOS will get confused. Spot on. I missed that option the first time through the BIOS settings. Enabled it on the 7890 and the machine is now running smoothly. Thanks again to Doug and to Guy for steering me on the right track. Anyone know what effect this option has on system performance?
