I'll give that a try.  According to the docs, I tried gmake cross.  That
fails trying to find libgcc.a, which is understandable.  Usually gcc can
build the math functions it needs in libgcc.a from the perform macros,
but egcs seems unable to do this (at least the way gcc used to be able
to).
