Rlogin uses ``~.'' to drop the connection :-) If you want to use ppp over an rlogin session, you'll need to double up on the ``~''s that you want to send to ppp. So here, you ``~~.'' to back out of a `term' session. > Often ppp doesn't work, so I have to reset the modem (ZyXEL Elite). > > I rlogin as root to the machine where ppp is running. > > killall ppp > ppp > term > ats38=4swr > (zyxel restarts like it has been turned off and on.
