The XFree86 port does not build a.out libs by default, so people installing from the port have Netscape break, and they generate bogus PRs. The port also does not have the a.out libs in it's PLIST, so they are not pkg_deleted. Also, the aoutlibs port installs old XFree86 libraries, which work better with Netscape than the new ones. This will not break exisiting installations or XFree86 packages which include a.out libs, other than a warning on pkg_delete. > This is a sort of "heads up", since I don't think many people know that > there are more consumers of this port than the obvious ones.
