I would feel a lot better by doing a clean format and installing 4.0 fresh off the cds than trying to do make world to 4.0 and all the associated "nightmares" involved. I have been very impressed with 4.0 and have been running it on my workstation since release came out without any problems beyond the "problems" with the ad driver which are "fixed" by using wd. However, since all the production machines are SCSI, I do not foresee this to be a problem. : Virtually yours, : - Ryan Regards, Matt Heckaman matt@arpa.mail.net http://www.lucida.qc.ca -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.1 (FreeBSD) Comment: http://www.lucida.qc.ca/pgp iD8DBQE5A2frdMMtMcA1U5ARAmQgAJoD5DrgA4pqKy1fJtPRDCoizk4/uwCgnFpF C+U/RjefprWNJpCKb/52fMk= =b2FV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
