It wasn't fully deterministic, but it would freeze if I pasted ~30 or more lines. It took awhile for someone to repeat it because they were not pasting enough lines and the window size affected the bug as well. You can set up a duplicate scenario with gvim and see that it does NOT have the same problem. Even kedit works well.
