Hi, I am configuring a GRF router using GateD. My main trouble is that I configured two 10/100B-T interfaces and logged on the machine I can ping just one of its two interfaces. ---------- # ifconfig -au lo0: loop flags=8009<UP,LOOPBACK,MULTICAST> inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 grit 0:0x48:0 ge030: gritether flags=140b043<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,LINK0,LINK1,MULTICAST> inet 192.168.253.188 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 194.207.253.191 ge031: gritether flags=140a043<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,LINK1,MULTICAST> inet 192.168.190.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 194.207.190.255 ---------- ping to 127.0.0.1 succeed. ping to 192.168.253.188 succedd. ping to 192.168.190.1 failed! Why I cannot ping 192.168.190.1 ? Thanks, Christophe. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
