I think the 3com stuff all goes through ep0 now, it should be detected and assigned automatically without any more work on your part. My 2.1 version of FreeBSD (Jan. 96) doesn't see the fastethernet. However, since I sent my question, I saw that a driver for this card was added to a later version of FreeBSD in March (or May?). I'm hoping that I can pull in just the driver without upgrading the whole kernel... Thanks, /Darren One way to check is to do ifconfig -a and find the ethernet device.
