What could be hosed in /dev/MAKEDEV on 2 seperate machines one just supped and one with a brand new fresh CD install? I'm at a complete loss here. Any thoughts would be great. Is it possible a cable problem? Something stupid like a scsi ID thing? One of those things you would never think of but still may hold some weight? Thanks for the feedback.
