You mean, like /usr/ports/www/netscape*? Did you even look before sending this
reply? :-)

There are legitimate reasons for people using the Linux binaries instead of
the freebsd ones (e.g. more plugins are available, and for a long time the
linux binaries were considerably more stable than the freebsd-native ones).
