Tnks just give a day to sort it out over here and I have enough data points . With my box rah / gus pnp the problem is that one version the counter goes up and on my the test system / SB 16 the counter goes backwards. The new isa_dmastatus has the same problem so I have to find out why the counter goes in the opposite direction for a given system or hardware.
