What kind of problems did you have in the default install? Works great for met, however PERL_THREADED is broken for some time I think. I'd rather not see perl 5.6 soon in stable, too many things depend on it, and it better go to current for couple of _months_ of testing. BTW 5.6.1 will be out soon I guess.
