alanE's commit message for its removal sums up why it was removed:
"This port was a hack from KDE CVS way back when. It's BORKED, BROKEN,
FORBIDDEN, VERBOTEN, and wanted in 38 states."

the INDEX file is regenerated about every week. give it a few days, and
re-cvsup your ports tree, and the INDEX file will be in sync.

in the meantime, however, having the stale line in the INDEX shouldn't
cause any problems.
