Have you tried running the client, % ssh -v server Or running the server as, # sshd -d To see exactly what is going on? Any customizations to your sshd_config file? The notebook I'm on right now has no problem ssh'ing in to various hosts and it's been getting dynamic IPs at each dialup. -- Crist J.
