I guess I should reannounce that I have images of installation and boot floppies for redhat 5.1 with the pre6 version of the aic7xxx driver [pre6 works real well for me, so I haven't bothered to update yet]. The images and instructions are at: http://www.cs.utsa.edu/research/AI/bylander/linux/dell-precision.html The images are moderately successful for Dell Precision Workstations, but haphazard success for other machines.
