If you can see it in your bootup hardware detection (and it doesn't say 'no driver assigned') then you have a correctly compiled kernel. If the RealTek 8029 weren't supported, we'd have heard about it by now because it's a very popular chip (it is supported, since it's just NE2000). >How do I remedy this problem?
