Hello, We'd be delighted to have a Polish translation. As far as being in charge of a project goes, there's really only one way to do that. Start translating, mark it up, and submit your work via send-pr(1). If you do the work, nobody here is going to argue with you being in charge. We generally don't have official titles, however; everyone is welcome to work on everything. Assuming responsibility for a section of the Project in this manner is also an excellent way to get a commit bit. If you check the FreeBSD Documentation Project Primer, you'll find a chapter on translations. Everything you need to know to get started is in there. ==ml On Thu, Dec 06, 2001 at 05:34:51PM +0100, Michal Lesiak wrote: > > hello, > > i've been interested in fbsd for almost a month now, and it's great :) but > lack of polish docs makes difficult installing and maintaining it for > many, many people in .pl. > > having some expirience (i'm translating rfcs and some linux docs) i'd like > to start polish part of the translation project, since nobody did :) i'll > start from fbsd's handbook. > > so..if you agree, i'd like to become fbsd's person responsible for polish > docs, what do you say? > > > awaiting your reply, > Michal "bler" Lesiak > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message -- Michael Lucas mwlucas@FreeBSD.org, mwlucas@blackhelicopters.org http://www.blackhelicopters.org/~mwlucas/ Big Scary Daemons: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/q/Big_Scary_Daemons To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
