The Tecra uses the same chipset as my NEC, so it should work fine. (IBM uses the WD90c24 set, but apparently uses a 'tweaked' monitor so it won't work with either XFree86 and/or Xaccel. :( ) > I am seeing some problems with fvwm which I loaded off the 2.1.5 CD > so I am considering going back to 2.1.5 with the eailer PAO patches > and also 2.2-BETA with no patches. The 3c589C Combo does work with > the UTP connector. Is this a new card? If so, it may be hard-coded to use the UTP connector in it's EEPROM. I don't know if the pccard code has enough smarts to force it to use a different connector if the card is hard-coded to use one or the other. Nate
