You guys might also have a look at thttpd, the tiny, turbo, throttling, httpd server, written by Jef Poskanzer. http://www.acme.com It's freely redistributable, fairly popular (~50,000 sites on the Netcraft survey (http://www.netcraft.co.uk)) The stripped, shared-library-linked executable is ~45 Kbytes.
