Don't forget to add "-B/arch/sparc64/usr/sparc64-deo-freebsd5/bin/" to your COPTS/CFLAGS. I guess I should have mentioned that it must live as /arch/sparc64 to start with. > BTW, while I don't want to put pressure on you to do things faster than > you're doing them, this is a clear sign of progress and I was > wondering--do you have a schedule for making the base compiler DTRT? :-) That is much father out. I have committed into the FSF GCC CVS repo most of the changes needed for a stock 3.1 "sparc64-*-freebsd*" compiler. I am in review for the last set of bits. But those seem to expose a bug in GCC 3.1, so it might be a little bit longer. Due to the pain and rules of MFC's w/in the FSF GCC tree, there probably will not be a native in-tree 3.0.x compiler. [well... maybe I will fake something up that kinda works]. -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-sparc" in the body of the message
