Thanks.  Oh, and you may want to try just "ldconfig -r".  If you don't
see anything outside /usr/lib, it may be that somebody ran ldconfig
without any argument.  Some ports were known to do this upon install,
although I *think* I corrected all of them....

Yes, we are aware of that problem.  The exact name of the dependency
is embedded in the package, and currently there is no way for pkg_add
to recognize that xpm-3.4e is upwards compatible to xpm-3.4c....
