I might have been over-reacting, but I didn't want a good idea to get
buried in mistaken controversy.  I notice unix is defined for that
machine, then does it have sys/param.h?  Remember, we're trying to see if
we can use the existence of the unix of __unix__ defines as indicating the
existence of that file.
