Hi

I don't exactly know the time needed for a complete update from 2.2.6-R
to 2.2.7-R (I'm updating every other week : incrementally).
>From my experience : a large amount of time seems to be spent on source
tree traversal (with an IDE drive and a P-II 266) and not too much time
on downloading code.
This said, I use about 15 mins to update my stable source tree with a
33.6 connection to the internet.

Hope this helps
