Xorg should work the same with any system once the basic tweaks have been s= etup. All of them should be covered. Is Option "UseFBDev" "off" only for the R128 cards on the Powermac and not = for the RV 200 QW (Radeon 7500)? Do I need to connect solely to the mga and then plug into the radeon? Yeah, I see the vert and horiz for the G3. It worked with another monitor. Maybe loading vesa would work? --- On Thu, 10/7/10, Warren Block <wblock@wonkity.com> wrote: From: Warren Block <wblock@wonkity.com> Subject: Re: Xorg configuration fails on G4 Powermac To: "Super Biscuit" <super_bisquit@yahoo.com> Cc: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org, xorg@freedesktop.org Date: Thursday, October 7, 2010, 1:36 PM On Thu, 7 Oct 2010, Super Biscuit wrote: > I've tried the xorg.conf.new with both the options you suggested and Deni= se suggested. AEI should have zero effect on output, since it has nothing to do with that= .=A0 Just pointing out that it should be avoided. On i386, I see =A0 (WW) VGA arbiter: cannot open kernel arbiter, no multi-card support Your Xorg.0.log from the forums post doesn't show that.=A0 But it would sti= ll be my first guess. =0A=0A=0A
