Thank you for your efforts. They are appreciated.

I have freevt3k already running on CentOS. It and HPxTerm are more or
less in the same tarball.  freevt3k is a character mode emulator only.
 Block mode is an entirely different beast which HPxTerm attempts to
handle.

I am just trying to avoid having to build these things all over again
and deal with the inevitable dependency issues that will arise from
switching platforms from Linux to FreeBSD.  I am just not that
adventurous any more.
