Ok, PAE uniprocessor kernel boots fine, finds all the memory but I can't
create (clone) a vlan device ("ifconfig vlan0 create"). It fails with an
error in SIOCIFCREATE.
Since creating vlan0 worked in amd64 mode (and is probably
64-bit-friendly), is it a problem with PAE?
