Yup, i have.

Quite understandable.  The scenario is certainly identical: both ends
negotiate CCP, but cannot agree on a common compression protocol.
However, IIJPPP gratuitously starts to use pred1 compression, simply
since it knows that _CCP_ is still up, although pred1 has been denied.

Wasn't the author of iijppp around on the lists, too?
