[-- Attachment #1 --] We are having extreme problems using record locking functions (GNU C) on machine running FreeBSD 2.2.4. We have had success using flock and locking entire files, however, our needs dictate the use of record locking. We are experienced C programmers and cannot get the fcntl function (the only documented function in the GNU C Library) to work. If this is the only function that can lock records please explain in detail (and if possible an example). If there are other undocumented functions please forward any information and examples you have. We really appreciate any help you could give us and I thank you in advance. Thanks again, Brandon Gale TargerNet Programming bagale@cgocable.net http://targetnet.com [-- Attachment #2 --] x>". IPM.Microsoft Mail.Note 1 ! % ' # &
