> FFS is even better: it doesn't fragment. Microsoft swore tat NTFS didn't fragement for a very long time. It wasn't until someone else wrote a degramenter and demonstrated that it could result in performance gains that Microsoft was ultimately forced to admit that NTFS might fragment a little bit, every once in a while.
